For your Staff!

Self-Care Training

Give your team a creative break during the week, and provide easy tools for health and balance in a world of burnout! These sessions allow people to meet with co-workers in a supportive environment, which creates a more productive and cohesive workplace.

We have so many inner resources and talents, but can get stuck doing things the same way. These sessions offer glimpses into different ways of self-expression, to reduce stress and bring bodies and minds into harmony. Then, creative solutions are easier to reach, both at work and at home!

Clients love having this time for
themselves during the week!

“This time to be conscious of ourselves, even for 15 minutes or so, is so valuable. To sit and take a breath. I feel enveloped by work! I appreciate these reminders that we can do simple things to care for ourselves.”

“I’m trying to be more nurturing to myself – it’s a lot easier for me to be nurturing towards others. This call is a little reminder to carry with me for the rest of the week.”

Would you and your staff enjoy taking a healthy break during the week, to do something different and learn stress-reducing skills?

Most people agree that they need more self-care in their daily routine. Yet many are in the habit of putting others first, and may not know how to address their own needs.

Self-Care to the Rescue!

I’ve created a unique approach that focuses on creativity, nature, movement, and self-expression.

These sessions give staff members the opportunity to step away from the hustle and overwhelm: to learn and practice healing tips and activities, be creative and share with others, and to gather tools and resources for future use.

Each session includes:
  • a relaxing breath,
  • some chair yoga or Qi Gong,
  • a few health tips,
  • and a creative activity with time to draw and share.
Please fill out the form so we can schedule a call!

Each client receives a written Summary after the call with the activities and resources, so people can use them again or share them with their own clients. This way they can build their own Self-Care Tool Kit for stressful times from their favorite activities!

What People Are Sharing

“So much of the world is so rushed, and if people hear your calm voice and calm message, they will want to work with you. People are rushing as if it will somehow help them – they need to slow down, re-connect with nature, and re-connect with themselves. You can help.”
Katie, Reiki Master, Canada

“With all the phones ringing and so many concerns, during this time I wasn’t concerned with anyone but myself.”
Jean, Clinician

“Every time we have these calls I learn something new. Whether it’s breathing while using hand motions
[Qi Gong] or looking a little more deeply into myself. It gets me out of wherever I’m at in my head for that time; it is one of the most enjoyable times of my day. Thank you.” Miriam

“Usually my mind races. I was able to take advantage of this time and use it to recharge.”
Alanna, Supervisor

“I love interacting with you and others, to do creative things and to touch on spiritual things. I love it – I look forward to it.”

“I don’t think about how I breathe. We’re always just going, going. We forget that we’re human and need this care.”
Laurie
